Introducing Barb McCallum

How was your first month as part of the Boundaryline Team?

Barb – I have recently started with the Boundaryline Team based in Auckland.  I spent part of the first week at head office in Invercargill to receive some intense training around the product sold at Boundaryline and of course the role of customer service which is considered very high on the list of priorities at this company.  The staff here are very friendly and positive people with one purpose in mind – this is to give our customers the easiest and the best experience possible when buying fencing and gates from Boundaryline! 

Tell us more about your professional background?

Barb: I came from a Steel frame kit-set building company where I was in charge of the Kitset Carport division. In my role, I was closely associated with distributors around New Zealand including Bunnings and ITM, Skyline Buildings and Specialised Structures, where I was designing and quoting on carports, patio and caravan covers etc.  This involved designing, pricing jobs, arranging to engineer for site-specific cases, ordering the product in, organizing payment, dispatching and customer service, which was very much a fulltime job. 

To conclude, what would you like to say to our team and clients?

Barb McCallum: I really look forward to getting to know everyone better – staff and customers – and coming to a fuller knowledge of the product so I can help support the team nationwide! Thanks to everyone for your support and making Boundaryline an enjoyable place to spend the day!
