Women in Construction: Include. Respect. Inspire.

These 3 pillars form the integral organisation known as NAWIC (National Association of Women in Construction) and Boundaryline are proud to stand beside this vital cause.

NAWIC is a voluntary, non-profit association of women who work either in the construction industry or for business organisations who provide services to the construction industry. Its objective is to encourage women to pursue, establish and sustain successful careers in the construction industry.

NAWIC chapters independently host and organise numerous events throughout the year, including site visits, speaker sessions, networking events, and fundraising or cause-focused activities. Additionally, some events are organised at the national level. At the recent Mid-Year Quizmas event, we had the opportunity to sponsor the arrival drinks. The evening was well-attended, bringing together a diverse group of women from various sectors of the construction industry. It was a fantastic occasion filled with lively networking, allowing attendees to connect, share experiences, and support one another in a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere.

These events focus on both technical and professional development, aiming to inform and upskill women in construction while promoting networking and information sharing for the betterment of the construction industry as a whole. Being surrounded by so many women in this industry who are breaking the mold, getting involved, and supporting one another is always a humbling experience for our team.
