Roxburgh Pool sits in the heart of Central Otago, surrounded by gold-toned hills, open skies, and the Clutha River below. After years of wear and tear, the pool nearly closed for good, but the local community wasn’t ready to let it go. Thanks to their support, the pool received the refresh it needed. As part of that upgrade, Boundaryline supplied pool fencing that keeps the space safe and accessible, while still letting the landscape shine.

Compliance-Ready Pool Fencing for Public Spaces

To meet safety and compliance requirements, the team installed SentryPanel School Panel along key boundary lines. Originally designed for school environments, SentryPanel School Panel offers strength and security in high-traffic zones. It features a rakeable design to suit uneven ground and wide anti-climb gaps between rails. A matching School Panel gate was included to allow secure access while maintaining pool safety (F9) compliance standards. Made from strong aluminium and powder-coated for durability, SentryPanel performs well in Central Otago’s changeable climate.

Smart Design meets F4 and F9 Compliance

For the more visible parts of the site, DuraPanel Polo delivered a clean and modern finish. Its extra top rail adds a unique design element, while still meeting both pool safety (F9) and fall-from-height (F4) compliance standards. The DuraPanel Polo fence lines were side-fixed to a masonry retaining wall, providing a secure edge barrier and making full use of the existing site structure. New planting behind the fence will soften the space over time and eventually create a natural feature at the top of the section.
